How this is calculated
Wall area = wall width × height, or room perimeter × height for all four walls.
Rolls (plain) = wall area ÷ (roll width × roll length) × (1 + wastage ÷ 100), rounded up.
Pattern repeat — each vertical drop is rounded up to the next repeat height, which increases the number of rolls needed.
Standard rolls are often 53 cm × 10 m — check your product label.
