How this is calculated
Net wall area = wall length × wall height minus openings (doors and windows).
Blocks needed = net area ÷ (block + joint) face area, multiplied by (1 + wastage ÷ 100), rounded up.
Packs = blocks needed ÷ blocks per pack, rounded up (when pack size is provided).
Standard mortar joints are often 10 mm — adjust if your mason uses a different gauge.
